Herbert Inglehart, B Nov 28, 1866. D 1959. He was always very proud of the fact that he was "a year older than Canada." He was one of the leading farmers and cattle breeders in Trafalgar Township and played an important part in municipal affairs at the turn of the century. He was closely associated with the work of the United Church at Palermo and was superintendent of the Sunday School.

....was re-elected worthy patriarch of the Palermo division, Sons of Temperance,No. 143. Mr. Inglehart has held the office for several years. The division was formed in 1850.
