Miniature painted portrait of gentleman, end of 18th / fin 18e

Nice quality portrait with beautiful colors.

I believe it is French/English, end of 18th, possibly beginning of 19th. Red at bottom appears to be ribbon of a medal.

Painted on paper, comes with mother of pearl support, and bombed glass, no frame. Glue on back.

No signature.
